Merhabalar,

Bir süredir sessizim. Çünkü yola çıktım, döndüm, ve inşallah yenilendim. Ufacık motorumu yükleyip, daha önce hiç gitmediğim yollara girdim. Gittiğim yollarda kendimden izler bıraktım, kendime o yollardan izler yaptım.

Elbette yanımda defterim ve kalemim vardı. Clairefontaine'in bu "Roadbook" isimli modeli ve emektar Lamy dolmakalemim bana eşlik etti.

Çünkü ateş başında gecenin ilerleyen saatlerine dek yapılan konuşmaları birinin kayıt altına alması gerekiyordu. Bazı defterlere is kokusunun sinmesi, kokladıkça ateş başında geçirilen geceleri anımsatması gerekiyordu.

Ve sonra aklıma Hallac-ı Mansur'un bu sözü geldi.

Sizin haftanız nasıl geçti?

Sevgiler

Zeynep Tekteker

I was away for a while because I was on a vacation. I am back and renewed (I hope) I loaded my really tiny bike and hit the road. I leave my trace behind and I am also carrying the trace of the road myself.

Of course I had a notebook and a fountain pen with me. Clairefontaine Roadbook and my beloved old Lamy was accompanying me.

Otherwise where to keep the good memories of the long and fun conversation by the camp fire. Some notebooks can smell smoked so that they can remind us of those nights.

And the fire reminded me of this quote from Hallac-ı Mansur

"A guy asked Hallac what is love. He said you will be seeing what is love today, tomorrow and the day after. That they they killed him, the other day they burnt him down and the day after they threw out his dust"

How was your week?

Cheers

    3. Ah ki ne ah! İç acıtıcının da ötesindedir Hallac'ın hayatı. Allah sırrını kutsasın.

  2. It is such a treat to read these Sunday posts. Glad to know you enjoyed taking the bike out for a ride. I have heard that longer ride can be taxing on the rider, but it can also be an exhilarating experience. My week has involved battling with different databases, but I shall survive.

    1. Thank you Shangching. I really liked it and even liking it more every day. It is really hard to make 1000 kilometers with a small bike like mine but a good experience I have to say.

Do you still looking for a scooter?

  3. My pondering on a scooter is stuck at the thinking stage. In addition to which scooter is ideal for me, I have to first conquer my fear of the road. I dislike driving because how chaotic LA traffic can be, with riding, I would come to even closer contact with the traffic. I will let you know once a decision has been made!
