I bought that pen set above from a Stationery shop in Sirkeci. (By the way, if you are reading this as a stationery and fountain pen lover or collector and if you plan to visit Istanbul, don’t forget to visit Sirkeci. It is really close to the historic peninsula and you can find a lot stationery stores within a small area) As you know, Pelikano is the fountain pen 101 level brand of Pelikan which targets children and youth. Even though I have a few Pelikano pens, I wanted to try this particular pen, since it comes with an ink eraser.  And at the end, I can give this pen to my sister who doesn’t understand from fountain pens and make her happy 🙂
As you can see, nib of the pen is standard plain and durable Pelikano nib and comes with 6 4001 short cartridge and along these, there is a pen with a fine felt tip at one side and a white broad nib erasing the fountain pen ink.
This pen is a wet writer and has a quite smooth nib. I can make a review on this pen in the following days. Normally I wrote those lines to try the eraser but then I didn’t feel like erasing the quotes of Mevlana Rumi. Therefore, I draw some little hearts and erased them. I think the performance of the eraser is pretty good.
By the way, I tried this eraser with other inks but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t work even with Pelikan Edelstein inks but it  erases 4001 inks pretty good.
