On March, I have been to Paris for business purposes. Unlike Amsterdam, Paris was very fruitful on stationery aspect. I had limited time to shop as usual, so I tend to buy things seem different. This brush pen was very new to me, so I wanted to give it a try. Let’s see how I ended up with it.
Pen is basically this. It has a cap and a cartridge and brush tip body. But as an interesting thing, even though J. Herbin produces international short cartridges this cartridge was something different. As I noticed the “P” engraving on it, I compared it to Platinum cartridges and voila! It is Platinum cartridge. I don’t know why but I assume it is since Platinum has pigment based inks which are waterproof and do not smudge.
Since it was my first try, lines are a bit shaggy. Sorry!  You can have different line variations due to your hand’s angle. But it is quite different, trying to write this pen. While drawing this little cat here, I noticed it is easier to draw something instead of trying to write. So I sketched and inked some doodlings for you. They are Sufi themed. Hope you like them!
