Hello All,
Today I would like to introduce you with the popular ink of Montblanc, Leo Tolstoy Sky Blue. I, myself, actually not a fan of blue shades, especially dark tones of blue. But even I fall for this ink as well. The only problem is that, it is coming within 35 ml bottles and it is a limited edition. By the way, do you also think that MB had a huge increase on its limited edition inks?
Montblanc Leo Tolstoy ink is a great shade of blue with some green hints inside. It does not have the dull tone of regular document blue inks. Actually, it reminds me of Parker Quink Blue Black with those greens.
But still Montblanc Leo Tolstoy Sky Blue is a dignified blue on the paper. You can use it in official documents, your formal correspondence and any other correspondence without leaving your severity aside.
However, let me tell you that it is not going very well with the water. Yes, it is not completely washed away but still you can see the smudge.
I did like Montblanc Leo Tolstoy Sky Blue ink. In fact, I have used it so much while I was doing this review, I think I might have used the half of the bottle. Normally, it is not an ink that I crave for but I am glad a friend of mine gifted this ink to me.
What is your favorite blue ink?
